Football Recap: Argonaut Takes a Loss

Argonaut played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 41-14 loss at the hands of the Liberty Ranch Hawks. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liberty Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Corriea, who rushed for 164 yards and three scores on only six carries. Corriea's longest rush was for an incredible 74 yards. Joe Lara was in the mix as well, providing Liberty Ranch with two touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Argonaut and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Liberty Ranch, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Argonaut will challenge rival Rosemont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch is set to square off against their familiar foe El Dorado at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
