Kyler Sapp turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than eight strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Pettisville back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Edon is 3-1 when Sapp allows two or fewer earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Sapp and Edon will head out on the road to take on Gorham Fayette at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
