Softball Recap: Pisgah Beats East Henderson for Their Third Straight Victory

Pisgah got themselves on the board against East Henderson on Friday, but East Henderson never followed suit. They blew past the Eagles 21-0. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Pisgah got a massive performance out of Addie Foust, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those six RBI gave Foust a new career-high. Alexis Markos was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Foust wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Pisgah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. Pisgah is 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win (which was Pisgah's third in a row) raised their record to 6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for East Henderson, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
