New Castle scaled the state rankings by moving to 104 from 137 this week, the biggest jump in WPIAL AAA Parkway. The Hurricanes were able to make move up by defeating Ambridge 37-13.

Chartiers Valley lost to Central Valley 49-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Montour's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tynen Greer threw for 97 yards and DJ Payne had 72 yards receiving. On the ground Greer contributed 123 yards. Tyler Carswell helped Montour's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 14 yards.

Montour and Mohawk Area played the most contested game in WPIAL AAA Parkway this week, with Montour eventually emerging with a 27-26 victory. Greer during the win.
