Baseball Recap: Binghamton Takes a Loss

Binghamton lost against Johnson City on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-6. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dominick Bernthon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Rosado, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Binghamton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Johnson City, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-8.

Coming up, Binghamton will head out to face off against Windsor Central at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for Johnson City, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Norwich at 5:00 p.m.
