Soccer Game Recap: LaBrae vs. McKinley

LaBrae took a five-goal defeat the last time they faced off against McKinley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings' defense stepped up to hand the Red Dragons a 1-0 shutout on Saturday. The game was the first time LaBrae have beaten McKinley on their pitch since October 11, 2016.

LaBrae's one-goal win came courtesy of Cameron Mills, who's now up to five this season.

LaBrae picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7-2. As for McKinley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

LaBrae wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Pymatuning Valley on the 29th. As for McKinley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-1 loss against Hubbard on the 29th.
