Softball Recap: Sequoia Charter Gets the Win

Sequoia Charter took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ajo, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Stallions came out on top in a nail-biter against the Red Raiders on Monday, sneaking past 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Stallions have posted since February 28th.

Sequoia Charter's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ajo, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-7.

Sequoia Charter has already played their next contest (against Berean Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ajo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
