Basketball Recap: Faith Training Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Faith Training Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles and fell 63-25. While losing is never fun, Faith Training Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is ranked 134th).

It was another big night for Roy Washington, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day. Washington has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Jackson LeBlanc was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Faith Training Christian Academy's record now sits at 7-13. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Training Christian Academy will host Christian Home Educators Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Home Educators Fellowship is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2 points per game this season. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they will welcome Shreveport HomeSchool Sports at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
