Recap: Lakeside Rams vs. El Dorado Wildcats
The Lakeside Rams posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They skirted past El Dorado 48-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Lakeside has posted against El Dorado since January 29, 2019.
Lakeside found their leader in underclassman Mckenzie Williams, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Allison, who scored ten points.
Lakeside has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for El Dorado, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
Lakeside will head out on the road to square off against Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Dorado, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lake Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. Lake Hamilton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than El Dorado in Arkansas (Lake Hamilton is ranked 33rd, while El Dorado is ranked 180th).
