Buffalo suffers sixth straight loss on the road

The Buffalo Bison's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 80-47 loss at the hands of Forsyth. While losing is never fun, Buffalo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while Forsyth is ranked 98th).

Despite the loss, Buffalo saw an underclassman step up: Braden Mcgregor scored 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Blair Abraham, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.

Buffalo's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Forsyth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

Buffalo will be playing in front of their home fans against Versailles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Versailles has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 833 points over their last 11 contests. As for Forsyth, they will head out on the road to face off against West Plains at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
