Soccer Game Preview: East Bakersfield vs. South

East Bakersfield has won four straight games at home, while South has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Wednesday. The East Bakersfield Blades will welcome the South Spartans at 6:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

East Bakersfield is headed into the contest having not lost since the second and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Tehachapi onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. That's two games straight that the Blades have won by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, South made sure to put some goals up on the board against West on Thursday. They blew past the Vikings 4-0. The Spartans' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

East Bakersfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matchups. As for South, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6-2.
