Basketball Recap: Sidney Triumphs

Sidney won the last time they faced Dawson County and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sidney Eagles escaped with a win against the Dawson County Red Devils by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49. The victory was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sidney's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Dawson County, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Sidney will have a chance to go back-to-back against Dawson County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
