Soccer Recap: Hibriten Comes Up Short at Home Against Hickory

Hibriten unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Hickory Red Tornadoes by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hibriten couldn't quite close it out.

Hickory now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Hibriten will be playing in front of their home fans against Watauga at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hickory, they will challenge T.C. Roberson at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
