Riley County easily dispatched Eureka on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Riley County fell just short of Holton by a score of 50-47 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Falcons have suffered since January 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, Royal Valley lost to St. Mary's Academy on the road by a 56-39 margin on Saturday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
