Baseball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee fell victim to McCann Tech and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Hornets. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Hornets when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Lee and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for McCann Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee will venture away from home to take on Lenox Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Millionaires have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.13 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for McCann Tech, they will head out to square off against Hopkins Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
