Hawley has gone a perfect 6-0 against Forsan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bearcats will head out to take on the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Hawley beat Stamford 36-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bearcats.

The critical scores for Hawley came from Camden Ables and Drew Siller.

Hawley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ables and Siller. Ables got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Forsan's contest on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Reagan County 43-14.

Hawley's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Forsan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Hawley has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 168.1 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Forsan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 155.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Hawley came out on top in a nail-biter against Forsan in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, sneaking past 24-21. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffaloes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
