Basketball Recap: Mountain Ridge Comes Up Short

Mountain Ridge lost against Catoctin on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mountain Ridge Miners might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 50-34 to the Catoctin Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Miners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Catoctin, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Coming up, Mountain Ridge will challenge Clear Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Catoctin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Francis Scott Key at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
