Volleyball Recap: Contreras Comes Up Short

Contreras lost against Mendez back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cobras came up short against the Jaguars, falling 3-0. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Contreras was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mendez's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-9, 25-12.

Contreras' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Mendez, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 25-12.

Coming up, Contreras will square off against Roybal at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mendez, they will take on Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
