Football Recap: Pisgah Dragons vs. Quitman Panthers

Pisgah extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-3. They had to suffer through a 50-2 loss at the hands of the Quitman Panthers. The Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-2.

As for Quitman, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bryce Gavin had a dynamite game, throwing for 207 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 54 yards and one TD on only five carries. Shunzarious Dear did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 72 receiving yards.

Looking ahead, Pisgah will head out to challenge St. Andrew's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Quitman, they will look to defend their home field on the 17th against Northeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m.
