Soccer Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brighton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Westminster Wolves. While losing is never fun, Brighton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Westminster are ranked 25th).

Brighton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Westminster, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Brighton will take on Loveland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westminster, they will square off against Riverdale Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverdale Ridge will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Westminster surely won't give up without a fight.
