North is 9-1 against Hastings since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Polars will host the Raiders at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday just wasn't the day for North's offense. They lost 10-0 to Rosemount on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Polars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Hastings came tearing into Saturday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Packers as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Hastings' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for North, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.
