Baseball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova fell victim to Antelope and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Titans. The Lancers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in March of 2021.

Cordova saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Nyberg, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Antelope, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

While Cordova had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
