Baseball Recap: Monterey Dores vs. Palma Chieftains
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Monterey ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Palma Chieftains, sneaking past 12-11. Surprisingly, this marked the Dores' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Johnny Money made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Monterey's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is undefeated (and 6-15 when he doesn't).
