While Danbury's victory against McMahon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hatters won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Senators 29-28. The win continues a trend for the Hatters in their matchups with the Senators: they've now won three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why McMahon lost on Friday, don't look at Justin Daniel. Despite the final result, he rushed for 19 yards and two scores, and also picked up 54 receiving yards. Jacob Lederman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got Danbury back to even at 3-3. As for McMahon, their record now sits at 2-4.

Coming up, Danbury will be playing in front of their home fans against Norwalk at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McMahon, they will venture away from home to face off against Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so the Senators' offense will have their work cut out for them.
