Football Recap: Lorain Takes a Loss

Lorain extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They lost 39-18 to the Brunswick Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 242nd).

As for Brunswick, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-5 Lorain and 1-4 Shaker Heights.

Sean Barnett had a dynamite game, rushing for 62 yards and four scores, while also throwing for 158 yards on only 15 passes.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lorain will challenge rival Shaker Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brunswick is set to take on their familiar foe Euclid at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
