Volleyball Game Preview: Regina vs. Mott Marauders + How To Watch

Regina will square off against the Mott Marauders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Mott took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Regina, who comes in off a win.

Regina is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since October 28, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Rochester. The victory continues a trend for Regina in their matchups with Rochester: they've now won three in a row.

Regina took Rochester into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 27-25, 25-16, 21-25, 15-12.

Lillyana Pitters and Ava Culakovski were among the main playmakers for Regina as the former had 18 assists and 12 digs and the latter had 12 digs and two aces. Those 12 digs gave Pitters a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Mott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Center Line.

Mott's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-1. As for Regina, their win bumped their record up to 20-15-1.

Regina was able to grind out a solid victory over Mott when the teams last played last Monday, winning 2-0. Does Regina have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mott turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
