Baseball Recap: Weleetka Comes Up Short

Weleetka fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Henryetta on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 7-6. The loss continues a trend for the Outlaws in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

Weleetka's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14-1. As for Henryetta, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 10-15 record.

Weleetka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Henryetta, they will host Okemah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
