Mountain Crest is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 18th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of West Field.

Meanwhile, Logan and Bear River faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Tuesday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears. The win continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won four in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
