Softball Recap: West Columbus Takes a Loss

West Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the East Bladen Eagles. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

West Columbus saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hanna Lilly, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

West Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for East Bladen, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

While West Columbus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
