Volleyball Recap: Lovington Comes Up Short

Lovington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Goddard Rockets. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-15, 25-15.

Lovington's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Goddard, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Lovington has already played their next matchup (against Portales), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Goddard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Artesia on the 23rd.
