Brewer hasn't had much luck against Aledo recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Brewer will face off against Aledo at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Aledo will be up against a hot Brewer team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Brewer put the hurt on Azle with a sharp 14-6 victory on Friday.

Cozette Tyson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Those 11 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Haylie Jimenez and Kamren Pride did most of the damage at the plate: Jimenez went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Pride went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most hits Pride has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Keira Miller, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Brewer lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They are 6-1 when they post two or more home runs.
Meanwhile, Aledo put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Azle a 16-0 shutout.
Like Brewer, Aledo also got a great game from a two-way player: TAYLOR MCKEAN. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. MCKEAN has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Aledo let KYLEIGH PAWLAK and MARINA TAVERAS run wild. PAWLAK went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while TAVERAS scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was ADDIE PERRY, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Brewer pushed their record up to 12-10 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Aledo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Brewer hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.2 home runs per game. However, it's not like Aledo struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Brewer suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Aledo in their previous meeting on March 5th. Can Brewer avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
