Basketball Recap: White Academy Comes Up Short

White Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 51-18 loss at the hands of the Cedar View Christian Seahawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-31 back in December of 2024.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Lillian Campbell and Macy England, who each put up seven points. Hailey Daniels held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.

White Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Cedar View Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7.

White Academy has already played their next contest, a 27-21 victory against Clinch on the 24th. As for Cedar View Christian, they will challenge Mount Pisgah Christian Academy at 11:00 a.m. on February 1st.
