Hugh Redd posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
