Volleyball Game Preview: Skyline Coyotes vs. Mountain View Toros

Skyline is 0-9 against Mountain View since April of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Coyotes will venture away from home to face off against the Toros at 5:30 p.m.

Skyline is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 32nd straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They came up short against Desert Ridge, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Mountain View faced Red Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Toros walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mountain Lions. The win continues a trend for the Toros in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now won eight in a row.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 20-15-2. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Skyline might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Mountain View when the teams last played on April 3rd. Can the Coyotes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
