Basketball Recap: Wylie Triumphs

After losing to Mt. Pleasant the last time they met, Wylie decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pirates secured a 60-56 W over the Tigers on Thursday.

Wylie now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Looking ahead, Wylie will challenge South Garland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mt. Pleasant, they and Sherman will face off at 9:30 a.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
