Volleyball Recap: Noblesville Takes a Loss

Noblesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Southport Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Millers were not able to make up for their loss to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

While Noblesville ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Anas Sakkah paced Noblesville's offense, picking up eight kills. Sakkah got some help from Sam Wolf and his 22 assists. Finally, Gael Esqueda kept Noblesville's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Noblesville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Southport, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Noblesville has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Park Tudor on the 3rd. As for Southport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Columbus North on the 3rd.
