            Softball Recap: Bledsoe County Warriors vs. Marion County Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Bledsoe County was the  3-1 winner over Marion County when they last played one another  last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Bledsoe County fell just short of Marion County by a score of  4-3 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Bledsoe County has lost by  just one  run.

 Josie Potter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Bledsoe County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Olivia Hooks, who  went 2-for-4 with one  run.  Cameran Tollet also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
This is the second loss in a row for Bledsoe County and  nudges their season record down to 12-7-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the  defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Marion County,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 14-15.
As of now, neither Bledsoe County nor Marion County have any future games scheduled.
