Charleroi hadn't done well against Keystone Oaks recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Eagles, sneaking past 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles last Monday, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Charleroi moved to 5-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Keystone Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Charleroi is set to face off against their familiar foe Seton LaSalle at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Keystone Oaks will square off against rival Brownsville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
