After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glendale, Blacklick Valley was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the United Lions 18-3. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Savannah Woods made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Blacklick Valley got a massive performance out of Lauren Rohrabaugh, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Rohrabaugh has posted since back in April of 2024. Paige Kelley also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
