Basketball Recap: Earlsboro Comes Up Short

After flying high against Maud last Friday, Earlsboro came back down to earth. The Earlsboro Wildcats fell to the Sasakwa Vikings 54-48. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent loss being a 65-51 defeat last Thursday.

Earlsboro's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Sasakwa, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

Earlsboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sasakwa, they will take on Wilson-Henryetta at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Wilson-Henryetta's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
