Baseball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

Highland came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-1 to the Mountain View Toros. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered since March 20th.

Highland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nixon Harnish, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Mountain View, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Highland will challenge Higley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Westwood at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
