After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roane County, Farragut was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took down the Hardin Valley Academy Hawks 69-53. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 52-40 victory last Tuesday.

Farragut got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Parker Lane out in front who went 6-for-14 en route to 25 points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Vanacker, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds.

Farragut is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. Hardin Valley Academy dropped their record down to 12-16 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Farragut will square off against Bearden at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bearden knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Farragut likes a good challenge. Hardin Valley Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
