Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot has gone 6-1 against Fuqua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot Knights will square off against the Fuqua Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Thursday, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-36 to Southampton Academy. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Molly Hamner posted 20 points along with seven boards and three steals. That was a full 55.6% of Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Dowdy, who put up nine points.

Even though they lost, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 11 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Fuqua took a blow against Hurricane back in December of 2024, falling 88-15. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Fuqua, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot strolled past Fuqua in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 43-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
