Basketball Recap: Terrell County Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Terrell County posted their closest win since December 12, 2023 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Randolph-Clay Red Devils 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Greenwave have posted against the Red Devils since February 16, 2022.

Terrell County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jada Rushing led the charge by putting up 14 points. That's the most points Rushing has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Britney Hill, who posted nine points.

The victory was the third in a row for Terrell County, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. As for Randolph-Clay, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Terrell County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-25 defeat against Westover on the 7th. Randolph-Clay has also already played their next game, a 61-48 win against Marion County on the 7th.
