Baseball Recap: Lake City Beats Mullins for Their Third Straight Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake City). Everything went their way against the Mullins Auctioneers on Tuesday as Lake City made off with a 23-2 victory. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Lake City, bringing their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Mullins, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
