Murrieta Mesa waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Scripps Ranch Falcons. The Rams were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Falcons, so the Rams were just returning the favor.

Murrieta Mesa's offense was headlined by Airyss Celestine and Olivia Mendoza, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Analei Bradley and her 14 assists. Savannah White controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Murrieta Mesa's win bumped their record up to 5-0-1. As for Scripps Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Murrieta Mesa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bishop's on the 16th. As for Scripps Ranch, they will take on La Jolla at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
