            Baseball Recap: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Allen East Mustangs        
        
		
        
        
            Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  13-3 to the Allen East Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the  8-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2024.
 Jefferson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lucas Millmine, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI. That  run was  Millmine's first of the season.
Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Allen East, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will venture away from home to  face off against Elida  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Allen East, they will head out to  take on Bluffton  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.45  runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
