Basketball Recap: Highwood Comes Up Short

Highwood lost against Centerville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highwood Mountaineers fell to the Centerville Miners 67-61.

Highwood has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Centerville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Highwood has already played their next game (against North Star), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Centerville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 85-45 defeat against Box Elder on the 1st.
