Basketball Recap: Bottineau Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Bottineau waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They managed a 61-57 win over the New Town Eagles. Given the Braves/Stars' advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Eagles are ranked 63rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bottineau's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for New Town, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Bottineau will challenge Dunseith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunseith has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
