Springstead fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Nature Coast Tech on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 13-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sharks. Having soared to a lofty 39 points in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Springstead's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Nature Coast Tech, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Springstead has already played their next matchup, a 26-0 win against The Villages Charter on the 8th. As for Nature Coast Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 25-6 victory against Anclote on the 8th.
